Center stage is a hardworking commercial kitchen inspired by the passionate vision of two gourmets who love beauty AND function. Designed in a unique collaboration with Custom Design/Build, architect Jef Forward and our fearlessly creative clients, the key to the success of this project was skillful teamwork.

The apex of the design is an extraordinary, multi-use island that provides large work surfaces for two cooks while offering a comfortable perch for guests and cocktails outside the work area. The new floor plan opens the kitchen, dining and living rooms into one grand panorama overlooking Japanese gardens.

Masterful integration of concrete, bamboo, river rock, steel, Sen cabinetry and handmade Pewter hardware are just some of the details that will delight and surprise you. We welcome your visit!
